Ingredients
3 eggs
50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese
200 ml of oil
1 cup (tea) cornmeal
1 cup (tea) of sugar
1 cup whole milk (at room temperature)
1 tablespoon of chemical baking powder
Directions
- In a bowl, place the cornmeal and milk.
Mix well and let it hydrate for 20 minutes.
Add the eggs, oil and sugar in a blender and blend for 1 minute. - Add the hydrated cornmeal to the blender and beat more.
Add the grated Parmesan cheese and beat for 30 seconds.
Finally, add the baking powder and beat until homogenized.
Pour the dough into a greased and floured form. - Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 40 minutes, or until golden on the outside and dry on the inside when you insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.
- Remove the cornmeal cake with cheese and wait to cool to room temperature.
