Daughter «Party» – the English indie folk trio have risen to the top in recent years. To my surprise, I saw that some of them have over 100M streams on Spotify, which I find amazing (and gratifying) given the quiet, unassuming music. Now they are back with some new songs that serve as a harbinger of the upcoming album «Stereo Mind Game» in April. In terms of sound, the band has remained true to itself, it’s atmospheric and dreamy.
New German Cinema «Being Dead» – contrary to what the name might suggest, this project comes from London. Behind it is Jessica Weiss, who has created a great song with a latent 80s retro synth appeal with her current single.
