David Bruckner’s ‘Hellraiser’ Presents First Look at Lament Configuration – Cine3.com

In addition to having obtained the first look in image at the protagonist Jamie Clayton (Sense8, The L Word: Generation Q) fully characterized as Pinhead!, the new installment of the cult classic Hellraiser from the director David Bruckner and the co-writers Ben Collins y Luke Piotrowskioffers us another sneak peek.

This time it’s about the first image of Lament Configuration (Lament Configuration puzzle box) that we can see in the Hulu Original movie of Hulu and Gary Barber’s Spyglass Media Group. You can find the promotional image at the end of the note (via Hulu).

The premiere of this new installment was set for on October 7, 2022 on Hulu.

In a recent interview, Bruckner shared the following about the film:

“This is not a remake. I just didn’t think you could ever remake the original Hellraiser. It’s too much of its own and I think that would be dangerous territory for filmmakers, because how do you get past that?”

“This is a new story in the Hellraiser universe.”

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:

“A young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that its purpose is to summon the Cenobites, a group of sadistic supernatural beings from another dimension.”

The MPA (Motion Picture Association) awarded him the R Rating by: “Heavy bloody horror violence and gore, language throughout, some sexual content, and brief graphic nudity.”

Bruckner, Collins, and Piotrowski are directing and co-writing, respectively, the horror sensation that emerged from Sundance 2020, The Night Housewhich you find available for viewing on Star+ in Mexico and the rest of Latin America under the title the dark house. The revival is described as a “loyal, but evolved reinterpretation,” from the original 1987 film Written and directed by Clive Barkerwho is on board the project in role as executive producer. David S. Goyer –one of the producers of The Night House– wrote the story on which the script is based, as well as being one of the producers.

The cast is made up Clayton, Odessa A’zion (Some Other People), Brandon Flynn (Ratched), Goran Visnjic (The Boys), Drew Starkey (Outer Banks), Adam Faison (Into the Dark), Aoife Hinds (Normal People), y Hiam Abbass (Blade Runner 2049).
