Steven Spielberg continues to develop its announced original project on UFOsproduced by Amblin Entertainment and with Universal Pictures as distributor.

The most recent news reveals that Emily Blunt He is negotiating to assume the leading role. If the deal closes, it would mark Blunt and Spielberg's first project together (via Deadline).

The project is described as a story written for two actors, so Blunt would play one of the two leads.

It is based on an original idea by Spielberg, and a script by David Kopp.

Koepp has written the scripts for Spielberg films such as Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. He will also write the script for the reboot that is being prepared Jurassic World.

Universal Pictures describes the film as “new original event movie”.

Other details about the plot, cast, filming date and official title have not been announced at this time.
