The action franchise Extraction of Netflixhas launched a new delivery, Extraction 3after the good reception in views of the launch of the sequel Extraction 2 in the summer of 2023.
A report from GamesRadar confirms the return of Chris Hemsworth playing the leading role as Tyler Rake, the Sam Hargrave as director, and that of the recently announced Joe Russo as a screenwriter.
Ruso confirmed the news to the outlet, revealing that Hemsworth's work schedules are being organized:
“Yes, we're developing it right now, figuring out Chris' schedule. Sam Hargrave is back as director. It's an interesting franchise because he's a very emotionally wounded character, so I think there's some good storytelling regarding his backstory. And, you know, his relationship with violence is based on self-loathing and guilt, so I think it adds a lot of texture, which allows us to tell more stories about him.
The previous two previews were directed by Hargrave, written by Joe Russo, and produced by both Russo brothers, Joe and Anthony Russo.
