How far would you be willing to go for the rating?

After becoming an indie horror sensation after premiering at the 2023 SXSW Festival (yes, 2023!), and touring the entire festival circuit throughout the same year, Late Night with the Devil is ready for your release in theaters and on VOD this weekend.

Directed and written by the duo of Australian filmmaker brothers Cameron Cairnes y Colin Cairnes (100 Blody Acres, Scare Campaign), the movie of IFC Films, takes place during a live television broadcast in 1977 that goes horribly wrong and unleashes evil in the country's living rooms. The project is presented in format found-footage.

The cast is headed by David Dastmalchian (Oppenheimer, Boston Strangler), Laura Gordon (Secret City), Ingrid Torelli (The End, Bloom), Ian Bliss (Utopiasaga The Matrix), Fayssal Bazzi (Shantaram, Stateless), y Rhys Auteri.

IFC Films presented the official trailer and an official promo, which you can find at the end of this note… if you dare.

“Set in the 1970s, the film follows charismatic late-night host Jack Delroy (David Dastmalchian), the host of a fictional 1970s late-night variety and talk show titled Night Owls with Jack Delroy, who, in an effort to boost ratings, has invited a disturbing cadre of guests for his “Hail Mary” of an occult-focused Halloween broadcast. During this live television broadcast, havoc unfolds as Delroy interviews a parapsychologist (Laura Gordon) and the subject of her recent book, a young teenager (Ingrid Torelli) who was the sole survivor of a satanic church's mass suicide. .”

Reviews from expert analysts praise how strange, scary and bizarre it is.

The horror film is produced by Dastmalchian, Derek Dauchy, Mat Govoni, Roy Lee, John Molloy, Steven Schneider, and Adam White.

IFC Films will release Late Night with the Devil in select theaters in the US and VOD starting March 22, 2024.
