INTERNET ISLANDS «Puppydog» – I always find it amazing how many good bands there are who have been making music for a long time and yet don’t even have 1,000 subscribers on YouTube. INTERNET ISLANDS from Atlanta belong to this group. I recently came across their music by chance and am very impressed, especially by their new single, which has a cool groove, but still builds tension very slowly, slowly and atmospherically. The singer also has a great voice. I hope they might release an album someday.
Sunday Student «She Will Never» – Since I’ve become interested in Japanese acts, good old indie pop has come up a little more in my blog again. For example, Sunday Student from Tokyo (even less known than INTERNET ISLANDS), whose mixture of shoegaze and guitar pop sparkles wonderfully.
