Jonathan Bailey in talks to join 'Jurassic World' reboot

Universal Pictures is preparing a new installment of the franchise Jurassic World which will work like a reboot.

In recent weeks it was announced that Scarlett Johansson was in talks with the studio for the leading role, while the most recent news reveals that Jonathan Bailey (The Travelers, Bridgerton) also is negotiating to join Johansson as part of the cast of this new film. Bailey is in the first talksreports Deadline.

The reboot will be led by Gareth Edwards (The Creator, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Godzilla), from the script of David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park: The Lost World).

The film will be shot this year at Sky Studios Elstree in the United Kingdom, with filming planned for the summer, and with Release date set for Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

Bailey became known to the entire world through her performance in the period series, Bridgertonand later starred in the acclaimed limited series Fellow Travelers alongside Matt Bomer. Bailey won a Critics Choice for her work on the show. We will soon see him in the film adaptation of Wicked de Universal Pictures.
