Kæry Ann, Roxiny | Coast Is Clear

Kæry Ann «Imaginary Room» – I rarely have Italian artists here on the blog. All the more gratifying that today I can introduce you to a very exciting singer from there – her music has something quite somber about it, sometimes reminding me of Mazzy Star or Lana Del Rey in their «Ultraviolence» phase. Some call it “Dreamgaze”, I would rather call it Darkfolk. In any case, she just released her debut album «Songs of Grace and Ruin», which suits the winter.

Roxiny «Castles: Not one more» – the new single by the US-American (with Dominican roots) Roxiny is more electronic, but not much happier either. After a baby break she is back in her old strength. I’m still hoping for an album.
