The result of this recipe is a super tasty and fluffy lemon cake!

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs (160 grams)

  • 1 cup and 1/4 (tea) wheat flour (165 grams)

  • 1 teaspoon yeast (07 grams)

  • 3/4 cup (tea) sugar (160 grams)

  • 3/4 cup (tea) butter or margarine (165 grams)

  • 1/4 cup (tea) lemon juice (60 ml)

Directions

  • Add the butter or margarine, the sugar and mix with a spoon or whisk until you form a smooth, whitish and fluffy cream. 
    Add the eggs and mix well. 
    Add the lemon juice, wheat flour and mix until the dough is homogenized. 
    Finish by adding the yeast and stir to mix well with the other ingredients.
  • Transfer the dough to a greased and floured baking dish. 
    Place the cake in the preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 40 to 50 minutes, until it comes out dry when sticking a fork or toothpick and golden on the outside.
  • Carefully remove the lemon cake from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature. 
    Develop if you prefer, cut it and it’s ready to serve.
