NEON revealed the first official trailer of Leviticushis most recent horror project.
The studio acquired the feature film after its world premiere was held at the most recent Sundance Film Festival, held last January, where it quickly became one of the most talked-about horror film proposals of the 2026 edition, for addressing a terrifying premise: conversion therapy.
In Leviticus, “Two teenagers must escape from a violent entity that takes the form of the person they desire most: each other.”
The trailer presents a disturbing and violent story centered on two teenagers trapped in a deeply conservative religious community, where their relationship becomes the target of brutal “treatment.”
Directed and written by Adrian Chiarellathe film follows the couple as they are subjected to a ritual meant to “cure” them, which actually unleashes a terrifying supernatural force. This entity, which takes the form of the person its victims most desire, transforms their love into something deadly.
The main cast includes Joe Bird (Talk to Me), Stacy Clausen (Crazy Fun Park), Shannon Berry (The Wilds), Nicholas Hope (The Invisible Man), y Mia Wasikowska (Crimson Peak).
As if the premise wasn't terrifying in itself, the trailer combines a disturbing atmosphere with elements of psychological horror and queer coming-of-age drama, highlighting themes such as repression, identity, and religious trauma. Additionally, it features intense images and disturbing sequences that emphasize the darker aspects of the film.

NEON is planning the premiere of Leviticus in theaters for the June 19, 2026.
