Queen Latifah and his fictional family find themselves in dire straits after venturing on a road trip that takes a sinister turn in the thriller’s first official trailer. End of the Road of the director Millicent Sheltonreleased during the week by Netflix.
Latifah plays Brenda, who embarks on a cross-country road trip to move between cities. The trip becomes a highway to hell for Brenda, her two sons and her brother Reggie, played by Chris Bridges aka Ludacrisbest known for his participation in the action saga Fast and Furious.
After witnessing a brutal murder, the family finds themselves in the crosshairs of a mysterious killer. Now alone in the New Mexico desert and cut off from any help, Brenda finds herself embroiled in a deadly fight to keep her family alive.
The cast is made up of Latifah, Bridges, Beau Bridges, Muchala Faith Lee, Shaun Dixon y Frances Lee McCain.
Shelton (Locke & Key, Titans, Black-ish) directs from the script written by David Loughery (Passenger 57, Lakeview Terrace, The Intruder, Fatale).
Netflix will premiere it to its subscribers worldwide on September 9, 2022.
