New In Radio – 10/2026 – frohfroh – electronic music from leipzig

On a warm late summer Monday evening we broadcast live from the Radio Blau studio again – two hours of very different music.

Our New In Radio format breaks the mold of genre almost every issue – but also because Leipzig's musical output remains consistently diverse. In our October issue of New In Radio, Claudia and Jens presented a few Leipzig tracks suitable for the dancefloor as a small moderation team. Later they “improvised in rage” with great passion or sang their hearts out with cheesy synth-pop.

Our deep dive then focused on the extremely good compilation “Familiar Faces N°5” for the 20th anniversary of the Leipzig label Riotvan. With a long intro take from David and some personal memories of the 240 months of this special label.
