OMD «Bauhaus Staircase» – Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark are one of those bands that have really stuck with me for ages. Their classics are indestructible anyway, but there are always real pearls on the newer albums. They haven’t changed their sound that much if you listen to the new single that heralds the new album. A great video and classic OMD songwriting.
CENT «Determination» (kesshin; German provision) – of course, a Japanese band shouldn’t be missing either. Today something brand new from a new indie band whose melodic Schrammel guitars I really like. The debut album «PER→CENT→AGE» has just been released.
