Shia LaBeouf has found his next film project with Maceand action thriller who will lead Jon Amiel. The film will also star Trevor Jackson (Grown-ish, Superfly).
Mace account the harrowing story of two very different types of police“a dangerous and corrupt veteran agent Mace (LaBeouf), and Virgil Woods (Jackson), a young rookie who thinks he can change the system that fosters cops like Mace from within.”
The film is “inspired by the recent racial injustice on the streets of America and Woods refuses to be intimidated and stands up for his principles against the amoral Mac. Woods risks everything he believes in to stop Mace from destroying the city when Mace start a gang war to cover up their crimes. Everyone around Mace is in danger as he plays his game and tries to cover his tracks, whatever he costs.”
I have no doubt that LaBeouf is going to fully immerse himself in this role and that he is going to offer another great performance.
The film script has been written by David Chisholm and is produced by Kirk D’Amicowho has stated:
