Guarantee a tasty, healthy and super easy dish with this spinach cream!

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of spinach

  • 1 onion

  • 1 cup of cottage cheese

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 glass of milk

  • 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine

  • 2 tablespoons of corn starch

  • 2 tablespoons of leek

  • nutmeg to taste

Directions

  • Melt the butter or margarine in a large pan or skillet, add the chopped onion and leek and sauté for a few minutes, stirring constantly. 
    Add the chopped spinach and sauté until it starts to wilt, always stirring well.
  • Mix the cornstarch with the chilled milk and stir until dissolved, add to the spinach and add the nutmeg to taste. 
    Add salt and mix more.
  • Cook for a few more minutes, stirring constantly until the cream is incorporated. 
    Turn off the heat and the spinach cream is ready to serve.
