If you haven’t tried stuffed sausage yet, make this recipe and fall in love!


  • 6 pieces of Tuscan sausage

  • 1 chopped tomato

  • 1/2 chopped onion

  • 200 grams of grated mozzarella

  • Creamy cottage cheese to taste

  • Black pepper to taste

  • green smell to taste

  • oregano to taste

  • olive oil to taste

  • salt to taste


  • Place the sausages in a pot of water and boil them for 3 minutes to pre-cook them. 
    Cut them in half to a little more than half of each segment, in a canoe shape. 
    Arrange the buds side-by-side in a refractory or roasting pan.
  • To make the stuffing, add the chopped onion, tomato and green smell to a bowl. 
    Season with a pinch of salt, black pepper and oregano to taste. 
    Mix well to homogenize the ingredients.
  • Add a little olive oil on top of the sausages and in the refractory. 
    Then spread some cottage cheese inside the segments (about 1 spoon per segment). 
    Stuff the sausages with the chopped vegetables and add grated mozzarella to taste on top.
  • Place the stuffed sausages in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 40 minutes, until they are well baked and with the mozzarella cheese au gratin and golden.
  • Remove the stuffed sausage segments from the refractory with a spoon or spatula and the recipe is ready to eat.
