Suede, CHVRCHES | Coast Is Clear

Suede «She Still Leads Me» – yes, that’s a nice surprise: one of the great bands of the 90s BritPop era that has survived to this day are back with a really successful new single, which is also the harbinger of the next album called «Autofiction» (to be released on September 16). Brett Anderson’s voice is unmistakable, and the guitars play around his singing with a pleasant crispness and at the same time typical Suede melancholy. So the album can actually be something. 🙂

CHVRCHES «Out of my Head feat. Wednesday Campanella» – I have to admit, I didn’t even notice this song when it came out (2018). He’s really great though. The Japanese artist Wednesday Campanella (水曜日のカンパネラ) gives the track that certain something.
