The Conjuring: Last Ritesthe fourth installment of the main story of the horror franchise The Conjuring, will address the last case investigated by Ed and Lorraine Warren.
This sequel has the return – and farewell – of Patrick Wilson y Vera Farmiga since it is being promoted by New Line Cinema y Warner Bros. like “The final chapter of the files of Ed and Lorraine Warren “.
Wilson and Farmiga have given life to Ed and Lorraine since 2013, starting with the first installment The spellthen in its two sequelae, and the spinoff Annabelle Comes Home. The actors will say goodbye to their roles with this sequel.

The case explored in The Conjuring (2013) was set in 1971, while the sequel The Conjuring 2 (2016) was located in 1977, and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021) in 1981. Last Rites It places us in 1986, with the Smurl case.
The director of Last Rites, Michael Chaves (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, The Nun II), counts on the case addressed in the most recent sequel:
