According to reports from Deadline, the spinoff is beginning to take shape with the recently announced signing of three members of the original series, Kevin Sussman, Brian Posehn y Lauren Lapkuswho have already signed “talent retention contracts” with the Warner Bros. Sussman debuted in the second season as Stuart, the comic book store owner, with recurring appearances until becoming a series regular from seasons 8 to 12. Posehn first appeared as Bert, the CalTech geology expert in season 6 in a guest star role, the same role she held in season 7, and a recurring role in season 10. Finally, Lapkus played a recurring role as Denise, Stuart's assistant at the comic book store and his girlfriend, in the last two seasons.
