Warner Bros. Television is located developing a television adaptation of 300the 2006 film from director and co-writer Zack Snyder.
The series, according to reports from Variety, would serve as a prequel to the 2006 film. At the moment there is no scriptwriter signed for the project. The source indicates that “The exact details of the plot are still being worked out.”
Zack Snyder is negotiating an agreement with the company to join as director and producer of the series. Deborah Snyder, executive producer of 300, would also return as executive producer of the show, under her and Zack's production banner, Stone Quarry, with Wesley Coller also on board.
Gianni Nunnari, Mark Canton and Bernie Goldmann, all producers of the film, are also in talks to return.
