With a theatrical release date set for June, the filmmaker Wes Andersoncontinues to prepare us for his new project, the comedy Asteroid Cityunveiling a new poster with a look at its great, great, cast.
Anderson is the director of titles like Moonrise Kingdom, The Grand Budapest Hotel, y The French Dispatchwhich in its style has an abundant cast full of stars, and this time is no exception.
The movie stars Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton, Edward Norton, Jason Schwartzman, Jeffrey Wright, Bryan Cranston, Adrien Brody, Liev Schreiber, Hope Davis, Stephen Park, Rupert Friend, Maya Hawke, Steve Carell, Matt Dillon, Hong Chai, Willem Dafoe, Margot Robbie, Tony Revolori, Jake Ryany Jeff Goldblum.
Anderson’s frequent collaborator, Bill Murray, was intended to be part of the cast, however he had to leave the project after contracting COVID prior to filming. Carell replaced him.
The plot of the film with set in a fictional American desert town circa 1955.

The script was written by Anderson together with Roman Coppola, his frequent collaborator. In addition to directing and writing, Anderson produces the feature with Steven Rales and Jeremy Dawson.
Focus Features is the distributor in the domestic market, which set the limited release of Asteroid City for June 16, 2023, and a wide release on June 23. In other markets it will be distributed via Universal Pictures.
