Searchlight Pictures is developing the drama Behemoth!with the director Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton, The Bourne Legacy, Duplicity), who is already putting together his cast.
Olivia Wilde becomes the newest member of the cast, joining Pedro Pascal (The Fantastic Fours: First Steps) y David Harbour (Thunderbolts*), y Eva Victor.
Filming recently began in Los Angeles, THR reported.
While waiting to know the official synopsis, the source shares the description of the project:
“The story is described as a love letter to movie music and those who make it. It tells the story of a musician, played by Pascal, from a family of musicians who returns to Los Angeles.”
Wilde will play the man's ex-lover.
Wilde's most recent film role marked him Babylon (2022) by Damien Chazelle, and the thriller Don’t Worry Darling (2022), which he also directed. This year we saw her in the acclaimed series The Studio de Apple TV+ y Seth Rogen.
He has two projects in post-production, one of them is the drama The Invitewhich he also directs, and stars in alongside Rogen, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton, and the tragicomedy I Want Your Sexby Gregg Araki.
This project is Gilroy's first major work since ending all commitments to the second season of Andorwhich was nominated for an Emmy Award for best drama series.
Gilroy wrote the script for Behemoth! and produces alongside Sanne Wohlenberg and John Gilroy, with whom he worked on Andor.
In addition to being the creator of AndorGilroy is a filmmaker known for writing and directing the acclaimed Michael Clayton (2007), Duplicity (2009), y The Bourne Legacy (2012). He has written scripts for films such as Armageddon, Proof of Lifethe saga Bourney Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
