Ingredients
3 eggs (150 g)
1 cup (300 ml) of cornmeal (190 g)
1 cup (300 ml) of milk (300 ml)
1 cup (300 ml) of sugar (240 g)
2/3 of a 300 ml cup of oil (200 ml)
1 cup (300 ml) of all-purpose flour (220 g)
1 tablespoon baking powder (15 g)
Directions
- Add the eggs and sugar to a blender and blend for 2 minutes. Add the milk, oil, all-purpose flour, and cornmeal, and blend until smooth and well combined.
- Add the baking powder and blend for a few seconds, just enough to incorporate it. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.

- Bake the cake for approximately 40 to 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F).
- Once the cake has cooled, remove it from the pan if desired. It is now ready to slice and serve.
