Bacon farofa brings together practicality and flavors, increasing several recipes with mastery!

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of cassava flour

  • 300 grams of low-fat bacon

  • 200 grams of butter or margarine

  • 4 garlic cloves

  • 2 onions

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Melt the butter or margarine in a pan and add the chopped onions and bacon. 
    Sauté until golden, stirring occasionally. 
    Add the crushed garlic cloves and sauté for another 2 minutes without stopping stirring.
  • Add the cassava flour, salt to taste and stir constantly for 1 minute, until the farofa is slightly toasted.
  • Turn off the heat, wait for the bacon farofa to cool at room temperature if you prefer and the recipe is ready to serve.
