Smidley «Capstone (feat. Lucy Dacus)» – sometimes I'm really lucky with promotional emails that reach me (although I can't read many of them because of the flood), because I was made aware of the new single by the quartet Smidley from St. Louis, Missouri, which also features the singer Lucy Dacus, who I like. The music is slightly strange and offbeat, but somehow still pretty cool. The song comes from the new album “Murphy Horse”, which will be released on September 25th.
kinoue64 «Summer» – the Japanese shoegaze/noise band kinoue64 has already released a decent amount of albums. Sometimes they release several EPs in a year. Not everything excites me, but the new single, in keeping with the season that is about to end, is very successful.
