Ingredients
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1/2 medium onion grated
2 tablespoons of wheat flour
700 ml of whole milk
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 pinch of black pepper
1 pinch of nutmeg
Directions
- In a pan on the fire, add 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine;
- Let it melt completely;
- Add 1/2 medium onion grated;
- Fry until golden;
- Add 2 tablespoons of wheat flour;
- Mix well;
- Add 700 ml of whole milk;
- Mix well;
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt;
- Add 1 pinch of black pepper;
- Add 1 pinch of nutmeg;
- Mix for 5 minutes;
- When it starts to boil, turn off the heat;
- Your white bechamel sauce is ready!
