For your white sauce to be perfect, use the ingredients listed below and follow the step-by-step preparation method.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine

  • 1/2 medium onion grated

  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour

  • 700 ml of whole milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 pinch of black pepper

  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

Directions

  • In a pan on the fire, add 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine;
  • Let it melt completely;
  • Add 1/2 medium onion grated;
  • Fry until golden;
  • Add 2 tablespoons of wheat flour;
  • Mix well;
  • Add 700 ml of whole milk;
  • Mix well;
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt;
  • Add 1 pinch of black pepper;
  • Add 1 pinch of nutmeg;
  • Mix for 5 minutes;
  • When it starts to boil, turn off the heat;
