Ingredients
1 bunch of spinach
1 onion
1 cup of cottage cheese
1 teaspoon of salt
1 glass of milk
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
2 tablespoons of corn starch
2 tablespoons of leek
nutmeg to taste
Directions
- Melt the butter or margarine in a large pan or skillet, add the chopped onion and leek and sauté for a few minutes, stirring constantly.Â
Add the chopped spinach and sauté until it starts to wilt, always stirring well. - Mix the cornstarch with the chilled milk and stir until dissolved, add to the spinach and add the nutmeg to taste.Â
Add salt and mix more. - Cook for a few more minutes, stirring constantly until the cream is incorporated.Â
Turn off the heat and the spinach cream is ready to serve.
